After leaving university John entered the world of education, teaching in a large comprehensive school. Rising quickly into the management team he also lectured at Leicester University School of Education. Eventually he saw the light and ‘escaped’ into financial services; initially, as a consultant with a large financial institution, then as a very successful Independent Financial Adviser before being invited to join St. James's Place as a Partner.
Whilst knowledgeable in most areas of financial planning John has, over the last few years, specialised in Pensions; Investments and Business Protection, gaining advanced level qualifications which enable him to advise in specialised areas. building long-term relationships with his clients based on mutual trust and respect.
Over the years, through reading and continual study, John has amassed a great deal of technical, legal and product related knowledge.
While remaining friendly, relaxed and approachable, his great skill is an ability to explain complicated solutions in a clear, concise and easily understandable manner.
